Jesus' Kingdom Clashes with this World

In Mark 6:1-29, we see that Jesus faced rejection, Jesus' disciples face rejection, and John the Baptist faces rejection and martyrdom. We learn that we should expect opposition to Jesus' kingdom in this world. It's important that we be grounded in the truth, and that we remain faithful to the Lord.
