In these well-known miracle stories from Jesus' ministry, we see Jesus' power over nature and over demons, and his ability to heal and even raise from the dead. Behind these stories, though, is a message of warning for Israel about their response to Jesus' announcement of the kingdom. And there is also a challenge for us today to respond rightly to Jesus, too.
