Summary: Jesus answers the disciples' question of what will be the sign of his coming and of the end of the age. Jesus' judgment on Jerusalem and the temple in AD 70 is the sign that he is in heaven, on the throne. By fulfilling this prophecy, Jesus demonstrates God's sovereignty over human history and Jesus' universal lordship over everything. These truths give us confidence to live in faith today.
