In the opening of Jude's letter, we find Jude's call for Christians to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. False teachers who were perverting grace had crept in and influenced the church, and Jude calls for this false teaching to be rejected. We learn the importance of right theology and history for faithful Christian living.
